How am I billed for my edits?

You are billed for your edits when your editor completes your job.

Are you just for wedding photographer and videographers?

Not at all. We are for every type of photographer and videographer!

For video, we find that weddings are a good baseline for a unit of editing work. Just contact us and let us know what kind of videography you do, and we can get you a custom quote.

What if I change my mind after I sign up?

You have no commitment to us. You can sign up and use us whenever you’d like!

Will you match my style?

Yes! You work directly with your personal editor to match your editing style. Our style can even evolve with you and you can talk to your editor any time to change it. Your editor will give you a phone call after you sign-up, so you can work directly with him/her and get them headed in the right direction.  After completing the first few jobs we will do another review session to dial things in even further.  You can request a review session any time!

Will I always work with the same editor?

Primarily, yes.  You are assigned a primary and secondary editor. Your primary editor will be your main point of contact. There will be times that your editor is sick or on vacation. During those times you will work with your secondary editor.

How do I get my edited photos or videos from you?

Download your completed images and videos from the Prime Edits app. For photos, choose between jpegs, Lightroom Catalog, or XMPs. For Video, you can get the mp4 and the Adobe Premiere file.

What type of file uploads do you accept?

For photos, you can upload your Lightroom Catalog, RAW files, or full sized JPEG files. For videos, you can upload mov files, mp4 files, and even jpeg stills to an external hard drive that will be shipped to your door.

Is it risk-free?

Yes! Get started by submitting a job. If you don’t feel like it’s right for you then you don’t have to submit any more.

What client gallery providers will you upload the edited photos to?

You name it, we will upload to it!

What types of jobs and events can I submit?

We will edit any job!

Photo Editing Questions

Why are there three levels of Color Correction?

Three levels of color correction gives you the versatility to choose the right one for you. Our Standard Color Correction gets your images balanced to your specific style. Correct Plus takes it a step further by adding corrective cropping and filters to give you a more true-to-life image. Our Prime Correct is our highest level of color correction. Prime Correct adds dodge and burn and compositional cropping on top of Correct Plus. This gets you the closest to that final product that you want to deliver to your client.

How do I submit my photos?

Use the Prime Edits app to submit and upload your images. It’s simple and easy.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can submit?

There is a $20 minimum order. There are no restrictions to job types, size of jobs, etc. Submit whatever and whenever you want, as long as it hits that $20 minimum.

Photo Subscription Questions

Is it risk-free?

Yes, if you cancel in the first 30 days you only pay for the edits received.

How many images can I submit for each wedding?

You can submit as many as you like. The first 700 are included in your subscription. Any additional images are charged at the standard pay per image rate.

How many images can I submit for each engagement?

You can submit as many as you like. The first 200 are included in your subscription. Any additional images are charged at the standard pay per image rate.

Can I submit other types of jobs?

Only weddings and engagements are part of the subscription. All other types of jobs are charged at our standard pay per image rates.

What if I submit more jobs than my subscription includes?

No problem! You can upgrade to a higher plan or you can just pay the standard pay per image rate for any additional weddings.

What if I need to cancel my subscription before the end of 12 months?

First of all, we would be really sad. If we can’t find a way to make it work out we can cancel your subscription in 2 steps. We will go back and look at all jobs that qualified for the subscription and determine the total value of the time you had on the subscription. If that is greater than the amount paid so far in your subscription you will owe the difference. The second part is a 30% charge on the remaining balance of your subscription.

Video Editing Questions

How am I billed for my videos?

You will be billed for your video when your editor completes the job.

Is there a limit to the number of videos I can submit at a time?

There are no restrictions to the amount of videos. Submit however many you want.

Is it risk-free?

Yes! Get started by signing up for a Pay-Per-Image/Video account, and only pay for what you submit.

How do I select music?

Simply purchase the license and download the song(s) of your choice. You can then upload it directly to our app, along with your video files. Or you can add it to the hard drive along with your video files if you prefer that route.

How to I get my video files to you?

You can upload your video files directly to our desktop app. If you prefer, we can also send you a 1TB HDD vis USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail. Along with the HDD we will send a return label for you to ship it back to us.
